Johanna has been in the health and fitness industry since her mid-twenties and is an Advanced Pilates Instructor & Personal Trainer with a specialism in Pre & Postnatal exercise. She recently moved to Helsinki from London where she was a Master Pilates Trainer and Head of Pre & Postnatal for a leading London Pilates company for over 5 years. She has worked with clients from every walk of life and nothing gives her more joy than helping people achieve their goals.

Jo has been working with pregnant and postnatal clients for over 7 years and prides herself on her commitment to educating clients so they understand how to exercise safely and effectively during their pregnancy and afterwards too. Not just in the studio, but also at home.

She works to help clients create and maintain strong and healthy bodies during every trimester of pregnancy. Then after baby is born and it is safe to return to exercise, she can show them how to regain muscle strength, fitness, balance, and spinal alignment gradually as their bodies begin to get stronger again.

She understands every single pregnancy is different, and therefore also has experience in coaching clients through pregnancy-related issues such as SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction), cesarean section, multiple births, pelvic floor weakness and prolapse.

Johanna strongly believes to stop learning is to stagnate and loves to challenge and further educate herself, as it means her clients will constantly be challenged and educated too.

No matter what a client’s goals and regardless of whether they come every day or just once a week, Jo knows everyone has the power to be exceptional.
